Background Info:
Toukai was Queen Serenity's uncle during the Silver Millennium and always held a
grudge against her because he wanted to be the ruler of the Moon Kingdom. He
worked in the shadows for years, trying to kill Queen and Princess Serenity so
that he could take over the throne. He set up an attack in which Princess
Serenity was nearly killed by a huge fire when she was out on a picnic with her
bodyguard, Sardius. When the fire failed, Toukai made several attempts to frame
Sardius, leaving signs here and there that Sardius had been the one to start the
fire and managed to help make sure that he was indeed incarcerated for Toukai's
attempt to take the throne. He then was influenced by Beryl and tried to help
her in the takeover of the Moon Kingdom, thinking that he was in control and
would be king with her at his side as his queen. When Queen Serenity sent
everyone into the future, he was sent as well and for many years was unaware of
his own past. Eventually however, he remembered all that he had known and began
plotting to kill the Senshi. He managed to find Sardius and gain influence over
the angry man and caused him to continue in his hatred of the Senshi. When this
tactic failed and Sardius returned to the side of the Senshi, Toukai tried other
tactics, determined to destroy the Senshi with the help of his two slave girls,
Qamra and Sadira.
